Faststream are working with a global leader in maritime technology who are looking to hire a Sales Manager to join their UK business. This role can be based anywhere in the UK, with remote working and visiting customers across the UK / Ireland.

Responsibilities
  • Drive aftermarket sales of marine systems and services in partnership with specialist product teams
  • Develop and deliver sales strategies tailored to a customer base within the UK & Ireland
  • Act as the key relationship manager for assigned clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Provide expert support in lifecycle management, maintenance planning, and system conversions
  • Negotiate and manage service agreements and long-term contracts
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance reviews
  • Liaise closely with internal departments, including operations, engineering, and marketing
  • Champion continuous improvement in sales processes and customer engagement
  • Attend client meetings and industry events across the UK & Ireland
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marine or Maritime Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a similar technical discipline
  • Solid technical background with experience in the maritime or marine engineering sector - seaborn experience and dry docks beneficial
  • Familiarity with marine mechanical systems, automation, or control technologies is desirable
  • Demonstrated success in technical sales, account management, or a similar commercial role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
