Through our two brands, Mayfield Villages and Audley Villages, we offer stylish apartments and houses complete with the best facilities, from bistros and bars to health clubs and swimming pools. Of course, we provide exceptional service throughout. Our dedicated care teams support owners and local community customers to remain independent. It's retirement, but not as the UK has known it.

Role Purpose

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this role is responsible for the sales team’s performance and overall achievement of sales targets for that village.

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Managing leads and distributing across the team, ensuring all enquiries are followed up and appointments scheduled in the CRM.
  • Conducting regular 1:1 selling skills assessments with Sales Consultants, supporting continuous improvement, and updating feedback and objectives in Clear Review.
  • Completing regular planning sessions with the Regional Sales Manager to advance the sales pipeline.
  • Building the brand value to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Identifying opportunities aligned with the sales process.
  • Handling objections effectively and following up creatively.
  • Advancing the database through planning sessions to move each sales opportunity forward.
  • Organizing sales events aligned with database opportunities.
  • Innovating, developing services, and generating new ideas.
  • Demonstrating belief and passion for the Audley brand and product.
  • Presenting the brand to customers in an informed manner and documenting all interactions.
  • Ensuring all activity is documented in CRM for compliance and transparency.
  • Fostering a culture of delivering exceptional service, meeting commitments, and exceeding expectations.
  • Achieving each sale with integrity and transparency, involving the care team when appropriate.
  • Building relationships with other departments and key stakeholders.
  • Maintaining contact with purchasers and solicitors to ensure timely exchanges and minimize cancellations.
  • Providing regular reports on enquiry volume and timelines.
  • Contributing to the team’s sales plan.
  • Upholding organizational values and demonstrating professionalism.
Key Skills & Requirements:
  • Experience in sales management within a high-value, consultative environment with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Proven success in a target-driven, customer-facing role.
  • Experience in coaching, leading, and developing teams.
  • Resilience, self-motivation, and negotiation skills.
  • Adaptability in communication style depending on the audience.
  • High empathy, with experience in building customer relationships over long sales processes and delivering high service levels.
  • Alignment with organizational values and behaviors.
  • Full clean driving license with business travel insurance.
