Sales Manager – UK (Heavy Equipment Sector)
Location: Within 1 hour of Doncaster
Salary: Competitive (flexible for the right candidate) + Performance-Based Bonus

With continued year-on-year growth and a dominant market presence, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team and take ownership of revenue generation across the UK.

The Role This is a leadership role for a commercially astute and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You’ll be responsible for managing and developing a UK-wide team of Territory Managers, driving sales performance, and executing strategic growth initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the UK sales team to exceed sales and revenue targets
  • Implement structured training and coaching programs to enhance team performance
  • Track KPIs, conduct daily activity reviews, and hold team members accountable
  • Collaborate with valuations and marketing teams to drive inventory acquisition and buyer engagement
  • Manage high-value negotiations and key client relationships
  • Deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior leadership
  • Support auction preparation, including stock decisions and pricing strategy
  • Ensure consistent CRM usage and sales pipeline visibility across the team
  • Drive new business development, customer retention, and territory growth strategies
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a successful sales team
  • Strong background in heavy equipment, construction machinery, commercial vehicles, or related sectors
  • Proven ability to set targets, develop talent, and deliver strong sales results
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
  • A "hunter" mindset with the resilience and drive to seek out and win new business
  • High level of self-motivation, organisation, and commercial acumen
  • Confident using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
  • Must be based within 1 hour of Goole and willing to travel as required
