About the Role

The MICE Sales Manager role is paying between £36,000 - £40,000 per year, dependant on experience. The MICE Sales Manager is a proactive role within the sales team responsible for creating strong relationships with existing clients, whilst proactively developing new business opportunities.

  • Be an ambassador for the largest Hilton outside of the US, hosting some of the biggest events in London including conferences, tradeshows, incentives and meetings
  • Conduct sales research, presentations and sales activity via audio and virtual calls, hotel show rounds, entertaining clients, attending relevant trade shows, client evenings and fam trips to build relationships and grow market share
  • Account Management of assigned MICE partners, including key European agencies and corporate clients, whilst seeking out new opportunities to drive revenue
  • Analysis of market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
  • Travel locally and internationally to meet clients, share the story of the repositioning and drive business into the hotel
  • Strong commercial outlook to work within current business strategies and recognise potential opportunities
  • Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional guest experience and share understanding of the key needs of our MICE clients
  • Produce accurate and timely reports and presentations that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management

A MICE Sales Manager at Hilton London Metropole is focused on delivering the best experience to our guests and working collaboratively with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • A team player, we work closely with both our onsite Groups, Conference & Events teams and Hilton Worldwide Sales above property teams.
  • Proven experience in large events in a hospitality environment
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills

  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work under pressure on simultaneous projects and under own initiative
