A leading consultancy firm in the UK is seeking a Sales Manager to expand market presence across London. This role involves securing new project-based sales and managing client relationships in the HVAC sector. The ideal candidate should have a proven sales track record and a strong understanding of sales methodologies. Regular travel is required along with attendance at Head Office. Competitive referral incentives are offered.
The Sales Manager (SM) plays a pivotal role in expanding the companies market presence across London and the surrounding region. Focused on securing both new project-based sales and recurring trade volume, the SM is accountable for identifying, developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities across the building services supply chain; including M&E consultants, contractors, developers, housing associations, utilities and national/regional merchants. The SM will lead sales engagement from initial prospecting through to specification, tender support, and post-sale relationship management. They will work consultatively to understand client requirements and promote the appropriate thermal storage solutions, helping to ensure specifications translate into delivered projects. A central aspect of this role is managing the full customer journey and aligning external client needs with internal technical and commercial teams to drive successful outcomes.
Success in this role is measured by the ability to deliver sustained revenue growth, gross margin protection and long-term account development, while contributing to market penetration goals across the domestic and commercial sectors. The SM will also be responsible for accurate forecasting and reporting via CRM, building and executing a regional business plan in alignment with strategic priorities set by the UK Sales Director.
This is a field-based, remote role that demands strong self-direction, consistent communication, and a collaborative mindset. The SM is expected to be a visible representative within the region, regularly attending customer meetings, trade events, and internal planning sessions, while advocating for best-in-class standards in technical knowledge, service delivery and customer experience.
While this is primarily a field based role, regular attendance at Head Office will be required.
