Overview

CK Group are recruiting for a Sales Manager to join a Pharmaceutical Services company based in Central Belt Scotland. This is a permanent, field-based role.

Location

This role is field based.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Develop and build-on relationships with existing clients, ensuring service satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify and qualify leads and generate new customers.
  • Develop proposals and quotations and negotiate contract terms.
  • Represent the company at industry events and in external forums.
  • Maintain and take ownership of forecasting, ensuring accuracy and transparency in reporting.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
Background / Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or above in life sciences or a related field with previous experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical/contract services business.
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation and client-facing skills.
  • Proven ability to balance retaining existing business with generating new business.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and forecasting tools.
  • Understanding of GMP, GLP, and regulated laboratory environments.
