Automotive Used Car Sales Manager - Brighton

Salary: £60,840 OTE £87,000

Working Hours:

  1. Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 6:00 pm (with one rota'd day off during the week)
  2. Saturday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
  3. 1 in 3 Sundays: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Used Car Sales Manager Responsibilities:
  • Maximise the sales and profitability of vehicles and associated products
  • Achieve outstanding customer satisfaction
  • Develop, manage and refine vehicle sales policies
  • Ensure the optimum stock of vehicles
  • Assist the General Manager in maintaining franchise operational standards
  • Develop Sales Executives within the team to achieve and exceed targets
  • Support the sales executives in negotiating terms of agreements and closing sales
  • Gather market and customer information
  • Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions
  • Check quantities of goods on display and in stock and advise Sales Executives
  • Carry out one to one performance reviews monthly

The Candidate:
  • Previous Sales management experience in the automotive industry
  • Strong IT skills and ability to create and implement strategic sales plans
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet targets
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a ‘Can do Attitude’
  • Ability to flourish in a competitive environment
  • Knowledge of modern business methods within a prestige dealership
  • Ideally have knowledge of Kerridge
