Sales Manager

Location: Bournemouth, office-based
Pay: £35,000 - £45,000 with performance-based bonuses

Blue Skies Lifestyle Ltd is a family-run, online luxury travel agency encompassing 4 brands. Ski In Luxury is our largest brand and renowned for being the best luxury ski chalet agency worldwide. We also offer luxury villa rentals, providing year-round luxury holidays to our clients. Our team shares a passion for mountains and luxury travel, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.

The Role

The Sales Manager at Blue Skies Lifestyle is a key leadership role responsible for driving sales performance and maintaining high standards of service. You will manage a dedicated sales team, providing leadership, oversight, and support, including performance management, training, and sales strategy development. You will also act as the senior escalation point for clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of Sales Consultants
  2. Managing high-value and repeat client relationships
  3. Monitoring sales targets, conversion rates, and team KPIs
  4. Coaching and developing your team through structured training and reviews
  5. Representing the brand at industry events, trade shows, and property visits
  6. Collaborating with Directors on sales strategy and business development
  7. Upholding and enhancing the company's reputation for professionalism and passion
  8. Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new team members
What We Are Looking For
  • Natural leader with a hands-on approach, visible leadership, and front-line engagement
  • Passion for luxury travel and skiing
  • Proven experience in managing, motivating, and developing sales teams, preferably in luxury travel
  • Calm under pressure and highly organized
  • Excellent client relationship management skills, especially with high-net-worth individuals
  • Ability to analyze and act on sales data
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Proactive, reliable, punctual, and a team player
Additional Information

This role is primarily office-based with occasional flexibility required for urgent client matters. Travel to ski resorts and luxury villas for business development may be expected.
