Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager / Outreach Manager to join a fast-growing, forward-thinking cleaning and facilities solutions provider offering tailored services designed to deliver operational ease and cleanliness across the UK.

As a Sales Manager / Outreach Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new commercial cleaning contracts through direct outreach and relationship building.

This is a self-employed role with a 15% commission for the initial 3 months, transitioning to a salaried role (£30k) plus bonus, commission, and back pay bonus if targets are met.

The company is looking for multiple candidates with regional networks and experience in B2B sales within the cleaning or facilities management sectors.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Generating new business leads within commercial sectors including offices, educational settings, estate management, and facilities management providers
  2. Conducting targeted outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  3. Managing and nurturing a live pipeline of prospects using Google-based CRM tools
  4. Collaborating with internal bid and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  5. Positioning MBT Group as an agile, hassle-free operational partner, not just another cleaning supplier

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Sales Manager, or similar roles such as Outreach Manager, Business Development Executive, or Sales Development Consultant
  • Proven success in business development, ideally in cleaning, facilities management, housing associations, or council contracts
  • A strong existing network of UK-based decision-makers (e.g., FM managers, estate teams, procurement leads)
  • Confident communicator across phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Ability to thrive in a commission-only structure during the 3-month trial period

What's on offer:

  • Commission of 15% on confirmed contracts (£2,000 - £8,000 average contract value)
  • Flexible, remote-first working arrangement
  • Full digital onboarding pack (scripts, email templates, daily check-ins, capability deck)
  • If performance targets are met (£20K+ contracts closed), transition to a salaried role with backpay bonus
  • No travel required; outreach is conducted remotely

Trial Period & Progression:

  • Initial 3-month self-employed, commission-only trial
  • Successful candidates securing £20K+ in signed deals will be offered a permanent salaried or retainer position
  • If targets are not met, the contract will end with no obligation

The client reserves the right to terminate the engagement.

Apply now and join a supportive, ambitious team that values autonomy, performance, and results.
