About The Role

About the role:

We are excited to announce the opening of our brand new showroom in Barnstaple later this year, and we are looking for a Sales-focused Assistant Manager to lead and drive our showroom to success!

As the Sales Manager, you’ll assist in managing a high-performing, multi-million-pound turnover kitchen showroom. Your role will be key in building and nurturing an exceptional team, ensuring we deliver outstanding customer service and exceed sales targets.

We offer a competitive basic salary of £28,000 along with an uncapped commission structure, with an OTE of £50k+!

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure that every customer receives a world-class experience from start to finish.
  2. Assist the General Manager in training a team of talented individuals who will be central to the showroom’s success.
  3. Drive sales performance to not only meet but exceed showroom targets year after year, while prioritising customer satisfaction and retention.
  4. Play a pivotal role in the successful opening of the new Bury St Edmunds showroom, ensuring a smooth and impactful start.

In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood, and adhere to policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.

  1. A proven track record of success gained in a big-ticket retail environment.
  2. Sales-driven with a can-do attitude and hands-on approach.
  3. Ability to coach, motivate, and inspire others to achieve KPIs.
  4. Able to travel occasionally for training or regional meetings.
  5. Happy to work the majority of weekends and bank holidays.
