Sales Manager

Are you well organised, confident with computers and great with people? Fairhive are looking for a new homes Sales Manager to join our busy and friendly team!

Fairhive is a non-profit affordable housing provider with ambition. We already provide affordable housing to more than 20,000 people in our community but we want to do more. We are expanding our operating area delivering homes that are built to high standards and reduce environmental impact.

As our Sales Manager at Fairhive you can expect to be an integral member of our team, providing support to the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the business.

About the Role

We are looking for a confident individual with strong interpersonal skills who is able to multi-task to successfully deliver a programme of sales within agreed time and income targets.

On the job you will:

• Manage and deliver a programme of new home shared ownership sales
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction with new home sales
• Maintain and execute robust sales procedures
• Manage and deliver a small programme of stock sales
• Manage a small team

About You

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of our sales programme and who enjoys working with a diverse range of people. You will understand the importance of delivering an efficient and effective service to colleagues and customers.

For this role you will need:

• New home sales experience, preferably including shared ownership sales and nominations
• Strong sales focus and track record of dealing with prospective purchasers and pushing sales through
• A track record of driving sales to completion and exceeding targets

You will ideally have skills and attributes that include:

• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to negotiate formally and informally, internally and externally, securing co-operation from third parties
• Strong numeracy skills and a drive to deliver value for money
• Attention to detail
• Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise
• The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
• Practical problem-solving skills
• Computer skills (MS Office)
