Reed in Wakefield is seeking a Temporary Sales Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team. You will maintain customer accounts, resolve queries, and provide essential sales ledger support in a structured environment.

The role focuses on accuracy, timely processing of receipts, and effective communication with customers and internal colleagues. Immediate start and a full-time temporary assignment available.

Formación

• Experience in Sales Ledger or related roles is essential.
• Strong numerical and data-entry accuracy is required.
• Excellent attention to detail is essential.
• Confident communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficient IT skills and experience with finance systems.

Responsabilidades

• Process and maintain sales ledger transactions.
• Bank cash/cheque receipts and post card payments.
• Allocate and post BACS receipts.
• Raise customer credit notes as needed.
• Scan and maintain supporting documentation.
• Handle customer account queries via phone and email.
• Support colleagues with account and reporting queries.
• Process credits and recharges.
• Assist across the finance function during busy periods.
• Maintain accurate records and follow procedures.
