Job summary

Confidential is hiring a Sales Ledger Clerk in Redditch to support the finance team with accurate ledger maintenance and reporting. The role centers on data accuracy, financial reporting, and system-driven month-end activities.

Ideal candidates will have strong Excel skills and experience with Sage, enabling efficient posting of journals and accruals and proactive analysis of accounts receivable data.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel formulas, lookups and reporting functions.
• Experience using accounting software, ideally Sage.
• Comfortable posting journals and accruals.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and reconciling the sales ledger.
• Posting journals, accruals, and other accounting adjustments.
• Running and analysing reports to support business decisions.
• Producing regular sales ledger and debtor reporting.
• Assisting with month end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Managing customer account queries and resolving discrepancies.
• Working with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial information.
• Supporting continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting.
