Job summary

Confidential, Leyland-based manufacturer, invites applications for an experienced Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant to join a small, friendly team. You will report to the Financial Controller and oversee day-to-day sales ledger and credit control activities.

Key duties include raising invoices, setting up customers, reviewing credit history, posting cash, and producing reports. The role offers 25 days holiday plus bank, a company pension, early finish on Fridays and free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end sales ledger management.
• Familiar with cash posting and reconciliation.
• Experience with customer credit checks and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Raise sales invoices and post cash receipts.
• Set up new customer accounts and review credit history.
• Review credit limits and authorise new orders.
• Post and allocate cash; produce customer statements.
• Produce reports and assist in adhoc finance tasks.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve queries.
