The MISSION Group is recruiting a Sales Ledger Manager for our Sawmills, Filleigh site in North Devon, offering hybrid working. You will own the sales ledger function, drive credit control and cash collection, and manage a team of six specialists.

Qualifications

• Strong experience managing sales ledger, credit control and debt collection, including aged debt and cash collection targets.
• Experienced team leader with excellent communication, negotiation, numerical, analytical, reconciliation and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and motivate a team of 6 sales ledger and credit control members.
• Manage workloads effectively, ensuring resources are focused on key priorities and collection activity.
• Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews and team meetings.
• Ensure sales invoices and credit notes are raised accurately and promptly.
• Maintain finance email inboxes and respond to client queries in a timely manner.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Take ownership of the cash collection process and escalate complex issues.
• Drive cash collection and aged debt targets and review reports for action.
• Support with cash-flow forecasting and month-end reporting.
