Four Squared Recruitment Ltd in Solihull is seeking an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join a small finance team. You will manage day-to-day sales ledger and assist with accounts receivable, cash allocation, and credit control in a friendly SME environment.

This permanent, office-based role offers a salary up to £33,000, standard Mon-Fri hours, and the chance to influence finance systems during a migration.

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on Sales Ledger and Accounts Receivable experience.
• Confident cash allocation and reconciliation skills.
• Experience with proactive credit control and debt chasing.
• Experience with system migration, implementation or finance transformation.
• Proactive approach with suggestions for process improvements.
• Adaptable and happy to work across ledgers in a small SME.

Sales Ledger Clerk

Solihull Permanent Up to £33,000 Fully Office Based

Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm

We re recruiting for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join a lovely, close-knit finance team within an SME based in Solihull.

The business is currently going through a period of change, so this role would suit someone experienced, confident and happy to get stuck in. Alongside taking ownership of the sales ledger, you ll support the migration to a new finance system and help review and improve the way things are currently done across accounts receivable, cash allocation and credit control.

As part of a small team, you ll also need to be agile and flexible, pitching in across purchase ledger and customer operations when required.

What you ll be doing:
