Description

Our clients for whom we have successfully sourced over 50 staff across UK, Germany and Ireland are seeking to strengthen their sales leadership team in their transport asset finance business unit. We are seeking early expressions of interest for two positions that will lead teams of circa 6 external sales staff who are focused on the financing of both new and used transport assets of HGVs, LCVs, trailers, bus & coach and car fleets.

Responsibilities
  • Lead two teams of external sales staff to achieve margin-based sales targets for transport asset financing (new and used assets).
  • Coach, train, motivate and develop staff to drive team success.
  • Coordinate teams to focus on delivering a national coverage with defined sales areas.
  • Travel extensively across the assigned sales area; roles are contractually home-based with occasional client visits.
Candidate Profile / Qualifications
  • Background in leading external sales staff in the asset finance sector (this is non-negotiable).
  • Experience of direct routes to customers and leading teams via dealers.
  • Knowledge of transport assets is preferred; applicants with other hard assets who meet the criteria are welcome to apply.
  • Selfless attitude to leading the team to success and ability to manage up performance; willing to invest time, energy and effort to achieve results.
  • Willingness to travel extensively; home-based with occasional visits to client offices.
Role Details

The roles focus on leading each team to success with overall team targets rather than personal targets.

Position 1: UK North – area broadly from a line of latitude Birmingham North to the Scottish border.

Position 2: UK South – coverage of the whole UK South.
