Sales Lead / Senior Sales Lead – Defence Systems & Platforms

Location: Berkshire

Salary: Competitive Basic Salary + Commission

We’re supporting a UK Defence SME in hiring a Sales Lead / Senior Sales Lead to join their growing team. You’ll be selling to primes, OEMs and SI’s and embedding the core capabilities of the business in programmes spanning the Air and Space domain.

The role will see you very much at the front of the vertical and building the sales funnel through strategy, networking and events. As the lead for the domain your role will very much situate yourself on bringing in and qualifying new labels before utilising the accounts and business development team to bring the customer and opportunity through to fruition.

The business is one of the UK’s most respected SME’s and produce a number of products and services currently integrated in to HQ’s and CAT A programmes. With multiple offices through the UK they provide a leading edge technology that enables industry and MOD to better operate and deliver key programmes in the interest of National Security.

The position will blend a hybrid of time in office in Berkshire, work from home and most importantly being on the road at events, with customers and building key relationships within service and industry. As a scaling business with a well founded reputation in the market, they offer the security of a Prime but with the agility and growth potential of an SME.

Background;

  • Proven experience in business winning & opportunity qualification.
  • Experience within the Air & Space domain or selling B2B to Primes, OEMs & SI’s.
  • An individual who enjoys actioning strategy and building sales funnels.
