Job summary

Unilever offers a 12-month Industrial Placement in Kingston with hybrid working and at least three days on site. You will take on real responsibilities from day one and receive mentoring to help you grow, gaining insight into business challenges and building confidence.

The programme includes rotations across commercial and shopper marketing tracks, with exposure to leading retailers such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda and Boots, helping you develop skills in selling, negotiation and data

Qualifications

• You don’t need a specific degree background; personality matters, with ambition, people skills and commercial acumen.
• Be credible and confident in front of people with a passion for growing businesses and the power to influence and negotiate.
• Students must have completed the penultimate year of their undergraduate degree and be returning to study after placement.

Responsibilities

• Develop commercial knowledge and numerical skills.
• Build partnerships with customers including Grocers and retailers to reach target markets.
• Collaborate to maximise product launches, suggest product ranges and develop marketing programmes.
• Support execution of trade and promotional plans to drive volume and visibility and monitor sales.
• Work with Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to align teams for optimal retailer outcomes.
