Job summary

Héroux-Devtek Inc. is seeking a Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning Manager in the United Kingdom.

You will lead the SIOP process, coordinate demand signals across OE, Spares, MRO, and Warranty, and align with capacity and the Master Production Schedule while working closely with Program Managers and the Operations Director. The role requires strong MRP/ERP experience (Infor LN preferred), BI tool knowledge (QlikSense/PowerBI) and a proactive, collaborative mindset to drive accurate forecasts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or similar.
  • APICS CSCP or CPIM or similar qualification.
  • Demonstrated MRP system understanding, ideally Infor LN experience.
  • Knowledge of Qlik Sense is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage demand signals (OE, Spares, MRO, Warranty) and align with budget, lead times and capacity.
  • Facilitate SIOP data, meetings, and address shortfalls or spikes with corrective actions.
  • Manage Master Production Schedule and cascade MRP requirements through ERP (Infor LN) for bottlenecks.
  • Produce capacity analysis for manpower, production cycles and shifts.
  • Collaborate with Operations Director and Programme Managers to deliver forecast and order book status.
  • Control speculative demand signals in MRP and remove speculative orders on PO receipt.
  • Develop and monitor customer demand (hours/value) including backlog.
  • Manage MRO forecast, safety stock and replacement factor data.
  • Oversee KPIs with Directors; advise corrective actions when needed.
  • Inventory management: ABC analysis, safety stock, replacement factors.
  • Regular inventory reporting to Senior Management.
  • Lead data accuracy in LN for Sales and Supply Chain.
  • Assist Procurement with reporting and analysis.
  • Manage and enhance BI systems (QlikSense/PowerBI).
  • Manage Planning Coordinators’ objectives and performance.
  • Support projects and MRP activities as required.

Located in Runcorn, United Kingdom, our newly extended 120,000 sq. ft. facility is a fully integrated site offering comprehensive manufacturing, repair, and overhaul services to the major players in the landing gear industry. Designated as a Center of Excellence, the facility specializes in surface treatment and assembly of small to medium sized landing gear systems.

Job Summary:

The SIOP Manager is responsible for managing the demand signals via the S&OP process, the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting reviews – so the medium to long term view. The role also includes managing Planning Coordinators / Business Analyst. The SIOP Manager needs to work closely with the Program Managers and the Production Control team to align demand with Capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Core responsibility to manage the various demand signals (OE, Spares, MRO, Warranty) from our customers and the subsequent site Order book. The role includes carrying out analysis of customer requirements vs budget vs lead time vs capacity.
  • Facilitate and manage the SIOP data and regular meetings, highlighting any shortfall or demand spikes that affect the business and ensuring that agreed corrective actions are addressed by the SIOP attendees.
  • Manage the Master Production Schedule, including creating, maintaining and updating, ensuring MRP requirements are cascaded through the ERP system for all the identified bottleneck resources.
  • Produce capacity analysis to establish resource plans for manpower, production cycles and shifts.
  • Work closely with the Operations Director and Programme Managers to deliver the forecast plan and order book status.
  • Responsible for control of speculative demand signals within the MRP system ensuring that the sign off processes are adhered too and ensuring the speculative orders are removed when actual Purchase Orders are received.
  • Develop and maintain a robust process to identify and monitor customer demand (in hours/value) including backlog.
  • Manage and maintain the MRO forecast, safety stock and replacement factor data.
  • Manage the Sales & Programmes KPIs - working alongside the Directors of sales & Programme to ensure key metrics are met, advising corrective actions if the KPI’s need refining.
  • Responsible for Inventory Management and Control including ABC Analysis, Safety Stock and Replacement Factors.
  • Regular inventory reporting to the Senior Management Team.
  • Lead the drive for data accuracy in LN with regard to Sales and Supply Chain.
  • Assist Procurement with reporting and analysis.
  • Manage and improve Business Intelligence Systems (QlikSense/PowerBI).
  • Responsible for managing Planning Coordinators including objectives, performance measurement and one-to-one meetings.
  • Continue to support projects and programme management/MRP activities as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or similar.
  • APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or similar qualification.
  • Demonstrated MRP system understanding, ideally Infor LN experience.
  • Knowledge of Qlik Sense is an asset.
