We are currently looking to hire a Sales Executive to join our Commercial Sales Team. This role can be based in either the UK (with a London home office) or France (Paris) but with remote working.
Sitting within the DCS Commercial Sales Team, reporting to the Head Sales Europe, the primary purpose of this role is to support the creation of sales opportunities by using technical expertise of the Data Centre industry. Focussed on the customers that are looking for Data Centre services in London, Paris & Frankfurt. This role will be focused on seeking out new logos and new business from existing customer in our Data Centres in the region, as well as looking after the existing customers contract and taking care of renewing these existing contracts before contract expiry. The ideal candidate is a “hunter” type individual with a proactive, self-driven and commercially creative approach who can negotiate the existing renewal contracts.
Skills that you can bring to the role:
• Proven experience of a Sales Executive role within the data centre / cloud industry
sector.
• Proven experience building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
• Able to demonstrate a strong performance track
record.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.; other European language like French or German will be highly beneficial.
• Diligent in approach; timely and accurate data inputting.
• A results orientated approach with the self-motivation to work autonomously without the need for close management and the credibility to manage expectations in order to deliver without over promising.
• Excellent forward planning and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise those items with maximum positive impact on Colt's business and customers.
• Degree level or equivalent is desirable
