The new initiative

We’re expanding our proven AI-driven care management technology, already deployed in the US, to address Portugal's clinical workflow bottlenecks. As a Sales Executive, you will lead AI-powered healthcare solution sales into NHS Trusts across the UK. With the NHS facing record waiting lists, staffing crises, and financial pressures, you will position our technology as a solution to reduce administrative burdens, improve patient flow, and deliver measurable cost savings.

Please note that this role prioritizes NHS expertise over sales experience. If you are a clinician, healthcare manager, administrator, or someone with deep NHS knowledge, we want to hear from you—regardless of your sales background. We can teach our sales methodology quickly, but your NHS experience, relationships, and credibility are invaluable. Your insights, combined with our training, form the winning formula.

You will build relationships from the ground up in a system where procurement cycles can span 18+ months, and stakeholder alignment is critical. Success in this role could lead to becoming our Head of EU Sales, reporting to a US-based GM with extensive healthcare sales experience. Think of this as operating in a startup environment—uncertain, fast-paced, and chaotic, but also exciting for those who thrive in such conditions. If you excel in building pipelines, moving quickly, and adapting, this role is for you.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Sell enterprise AI solutions into NHS Trusts – demonstrate how our cloud-native platform reduces admin time, improves throughput, and provides ROI within NHS budgets.
  2. Own the full NHS sales cycle – from stakeholder mapping to procurement and contract signing on deals worth £100k-£500k ARR with NHS Trusts and ICS organizations.
  3. Navigate complex NHS procurement – master frameworks like G-Cloud, HSCN compliance, IG Toolkit, and tender processes, building consensus across clinical, IT, procurement, and executive teams.
  4. Build a £5M+ pipeline from scratch – use account-based strategies, conferences, networking events, and thought leadership to generate demand.
  5. Master NHS stakeholder management – align with Chief Digital Officers, Medical Directors, Finance Directors, CIOs, and procurement teams, understanding NHS decision-making dynamics.
  6. Become the voice of NHS customers – provide market intelligence to product and engineering teams, shaping UK and European NHS expansion strategies.

What you need to have:

  1. Deep NHS knowledge – understanding of Trust structures, ICS frameworks, procurement processes, and healthcare challenges in the UK.
  2. NHS network/rolodex – existing relationships within NHS Trusts and healthcare tech ecosystem.
  3. Stakeholder management expertise – ability to navigate multi-party decisions and build consensus.
  4. Communication excellence – ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value for clinical and executive audiences.
  5. Project management capabilities – experience managing long-cycle initiatives with multiple stakeholders.

What we would love to see:

  • Comfort with technology; understanding of digital health, AI/ML, or healthcare IT systems (or willingness to learn).
  • A builder’s mindset—thrives in uncharted territory and turns ambiguity into action.
  • Experience in a startup environment; comfortable iterating offers weekly in pursuit of product-market fit in Portugal.
  • Clinical experience; clinicians, physicians, nurses, healthcare managers interested in transitioning to commercial roles are welcome.
  • Track record of closing technology deals above £500k ARR under framework agreements.

£123,787 - £194,523 a year. Compensation is flexible based on skills and impact. Our titles may span multiple levels. Actual pay includes base salary, incentives, and stock options. Compensation may change over time.
