Job Description:
Description

Are you a natural communicator who thrives on the phone, doesn’t shy away from rejection, and wants to make a real difference in people’s health?

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, resilient individuals to join our Patient Support Hub as part of a dynamic outbound engagement team.

In this role, you’ll be reaching out to NHS patients who are due important health assessments. Your mission will be to encourage and motivate patients to book appointments that could significantly improve — or even save — their lives.

You'll be making high volumes of calls each week, handling objections, and using your interpersonal skills to inspire action.

Success here depends on your energy, your ability to build quick rapport, and your persistence in the face of setbacks. If you have experience in outbound sales, door-to-door canvassing, or public fundraising, you'll already know the drive it takes to succeed — and if you love that fast-paced challenge, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Make 150+ outbound calls daily to patients needing clinical assessments or health-related interventions.
  • Consistently achieve set targets for bookings on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Communicate with patients to inform, motivate, and secure appointment commitments.
  • Manage objections with professionalism and persistence — understanding that some patients may have been contacted previously.
  • Clearly explain the health benefits of attending appointments and address any concerns to boost engagement.
  • Monitor your personal performance metrics and actively participate in coaching sessions to sharpen your booking skills.
  • Accurately record call outcomes and maintain up-to-date patient information in our systems.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

(Required):
Target-driven mindset — You thrive on meeting KPIs and are motivated to achieve both personal and team goals.
Outstanding communicator — Skilled at building rapport, educating patients, and persuading even the most hesitant individuals.
Resilient and persistent — Comfortable handling frequent rejection and able to maintain energy, focus, and positivity throughout the day.
Fast learner — Able to quickly absorb and apply new information across a range of clinical topics (full training provided).
Fluent English speaker with solid IT proficiency — Previous experience with CRM systems is a bonus.

(Highly Desirable)
Experience in outbound calling, telesales, door-to-door, or fundraising — You’re confident talking to strangers and love a challenge.

You’ll join a high-energy, results-focused team with the opportunity to influence a rapidly expanding service.

Enjoy a base salary of £24,000, with the potential to boost your total earnings up to £31,000 annually through monthly performance commissions and an additional year-end bonus.
