Customer Service Sales Consultant - Co-op Legal Services

We are seeking people with excellent customer service and communication skills to join us as sales consultants at Co-op Legal Services. Our team provides accessible legal advice and support around later life issues, helping clients plan for life events and support their loved ones.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Attending video or phone-based appointments to discuss the benefits of legal services with clients.
  2. Working closely with clients to identify needs, providing information and solutions.
  3. Explaining legal issues in an understandable way, without legal jargon.
  4. Developing positive relationships with colleagues to ensure the best client experience.
  5. Meeting targets to deliver excellent client outcomes and business success.
  6. Occasionally traveling for face-to-face meetings.

Requirements include:

  1. Previous experience in B2B or B2C consultative sales and supporting customers in decision-making.
  2. A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  3. Confidence, empathy, and understanding when communicating with clients.
  4. Active listening skills and adaptability to engage diverse clients via phone, video, and face-to-face.
  5. Ability to influence and demonstrate enthusiasm for our services.
  6. High literacy and numeracy skills.
  7. Ability to meet key targets.
  8. Good IT skills with quick adaptability to new systems.

Salary and Working Hours:

£25,000 base salary, OTE £40,000, plus benefits. Work hours are Monday to Saturday, 37.5 hours per week, with flexible hours between 9 am and 9 pm, including some evenings and every fourth Saturday. Part-time options available from 30 hours over 4 days. Remote work across England and Wales with occasional travel. Start date: 20th October 2025.
