We're looking for a Sales Executive to join our team and assist the Head of Sales in sourcing new leads and business opportunities. This role will focus on all market segments and geographical areas, including the international luxury leisure market, national and local corporate companies, and various industry sectors. Responsibilities include focused research utilizing local knowledge, contacts, the internet, and social media platforms.
The Sales Executive should have experience in proactive sales, ideally within the hospitality sector, though this is not essential. The candidate must possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for sales, and strong relationship-building abilities. The role requires a highly driven, tenacious individual motivated by success, with a professional telephone manner.
Working directly with the Head of Sales, General Manager, and other key stakeholders, you will ensure all key business opportunities are identified and exploited. The role involves implementing sales plans to drive measurable increases in occupancy, average rates, volume, and sales in food & beverage and banquets. Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and external contacts to generate group and convention business, including room sales, F&B sales, and catering services, is essential.
You will be responsible for researching and delivering market intelligence and new business updates using tools like Google Alerts, and developing strong local product and competitor knowledge. All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK, with documented evidence provided during the recruitment process.
