About the role

As a Sales Executive within our Capital Market business, you'll be part of a team of self-motivated, high-achieving sales professionals helping customers grow their businesses. By providing industry-leading solutions, you'll drive some of the most exciting new technology in fintech while advancing the way the world pays, banks, and invests.

About the team:

The FIS Capital Markets Sales teams focus on driving revenue growth by developing strategic sales initiatives and marketing campaigns, building strong client relationships, and promoting FIS's technology solutions across Capital Markets.

What you will be doing:

  • Acquiring new clients through prospecting, networking, and cold calling to ensure sales quotas are achieved
  • Developing a sales pipeline of potential opportunities in assigned territory and accounts
  • Creating and executing strategic sales plans for major opportunities
  • Participating in sales calls and meetings to determine appropriate resources or representation by other FIS departments to close deals
  • Building relationships with key clients and prospects at all levels
  • Maintaining an accurate and comprehensive sales database (Dynamics)
  • Staying aware of market and industry trends
  • Developing cross/up-sell capabilities across the full solution suite (ASP/IMS/On-Premise)
