Job Description:

Job Summary: Rackspace is seeking dynamic, driven, ambitious sales professionals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join the Rackspace Enterprise New Business sales team focusing on complex solution opportunities. The primary responsibilities include full sales life-cycle management, such as prospecting, discovery, solution proposing, negotiating, responding to inquiries, developing leads through outbound calling and events, and closing deals with clients having complex server configurations. Candidates should have strong negotiation skills, work well under pressure, and meet sales quotas. They should be able to present via WebEx, face-to-face, and phone communication. Embracing Rackspace culture, they will contribute to team events and suggest improvements at various levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve and surpass monthly sales quotas by strategically selling to new prospects via outbound and inbound leads.
  2. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, collaborating with implementation teams, and maintaining accurate forecasts in Salesforce.
  3. Coordinate with Solutions Engineers for feasibility assessments ensuring solutions meet customer needs and identifying required customizations.
  4. Understand prospects' business needs to align Rackspace solutions accordingly and drive product development where necessary.
  5. Build relationships within prospects, focusing on C-level engagement.
  6. Engage with channel partners to develop new opportunities.
  7. Adhere to security policies and procedures.
  8. Meet monthly sales targets through effective lead management and account penetration.
  9. Manage typical sales cycles of 2-6 months.
