Job description

Salary: £24K basic with a £50k OTE

Our client is a leading vehicle finance and rental company that offers flexible vehicle solutions to ride-hailing (Private Hire) drivers with a focus on Electric Vehicles (EVs). Their mission is to switch ride-hailing to electric!

They are one of the largest players in the sector and work with all the big ride-hailing companies including Uber, Bolt, FREE NOW and Veezu.

Their business is headquartered in London, and they are now looking to expand their operations in the Midlands and North of the UK, initially in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle and Liverpool (further cities to be added in the future).

Location

You will work at the Uber hubs in Birmingham & Manchester spending three days in Birmingham and two days in Manchester to start with. This role will require some overnight stays in London, as you will be required to work for a few days/month from our headquarters in London.

Responsibilities:

  • Working at our clients desk in the Uber Hub offices including Birmingham and Manchester to meet potential customers.
  • Build relationships with the Uber staff members and ensure the company is prominent in the centres, handle sales enquiries and convert sales leads into new customers.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies with the Head of Sales to develop a sales pipeline and drive growth in Birmingham & Manchester.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships with ride-hailing/private hire companies.
  • Handle non-London sales enquiries and convert leads into customers, primarily focusing on promoting the Rent-To-Buy product to Uber/RideHailing drivers who want to own their own electric cars.
  • Meet potential new customers for the first time who are considering buying electric vehicles.
  • Show customers the range of EVs and take customers for test drives in Electric Vehicles (will depend on the city).
  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and webchat.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Head of Sales on market trends, customer feedback, and competition.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to help develop sales materials and campaigns.

  • Managing sales information and ensuring information is correctly captured and recorded in the company’s systems.

  • Confident – happy to speak to new people and start conversations with potential customers and have a “can do” mentality.
  • Good communication skills via email, phone, text, etc.
  • Convincing – natural sales ability, exceptional presentation skills and well-developed negotiation skills.
  • Proven sales experience and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Good time management as you will need to oversee a busy workload across different cities.
  • Happy to work under pressure.
  • Self-driven and ambitious: The commission payments are uncapped!
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Enjoy contributing to the team and growing with our company.

Package

  • This role will include the use of an electric car which will be included in the package.
  • The Electric Vehicle will enable you to become an EV expert and can be used for test drives.
