Role Overview

The successful candidate will deliver exceptional customer service to homebuyers, working closely with the Sales Manager, Sales Team, and other stakeholders. The role involves achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the development sales areas, including the Sales Information Centre and Showhomes, ensuring they are maintained and presented to high standards.
  2. Handle customer inquiries via website, phone, email, or walk-in, accurately capturing details and converting leads into site visits or appointments.
  3. Qualify customers by understanding their moving position, timescales, needs, and financial situation to develop solutions that maximize reservations, revenue, and margin.
  4. Promote company-recommended mortgage brokers and solicitors to facilitate efficient purchasing processes.
  5. Secure customer reservations, work with legal teams and admin to ensure smooth sales progression to completion.
  6. Maximize sales of optional upgrades, assist customers through selection, processing orders, and ensuring installations are completed before move-in.
  7. Act as the primary contact for customers, providing high-level customer service to maximize satisfaction and recommendations.
  8. Complete administrative and reporting requirements in line with company policies and deadlines.
  9. Monitor competitors’ offerings and marketing activities to keep Taylor Wimpey competitive and meet sales targets.
  10. Conduct new home inspections, address issues with site management, and provide aftercare following move-in.
  11. Ensure health & safety standards are adhered to on-site for customers, colleagues, and others.
  12. Follow company procedures and standards of performance.
Candidate Requirements
  • Excellent organizational and self-management skills, with pride in building communities and supporting customers during important life moments.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, respectful and driven to achieve sales targets.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car are required.
  • Sales experience in housing is advantageous but not essential.
  • Availability to work weekends and bank holidays.
