Job summary

Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group is seeking an Inside Sales Executive to join a growing EMEA sales team. The role blends sales and customer service skills, focusing on developing opportunities, supporting customers and driving revenue in a technology-focused environment.

You will manage activity across EMEA, follow up leads by phone and email, and maintain CRM records while producing quotations and contracts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing sales and/or sales administration role.
• A proven ability to research customers and identify new business opportunities.
• A target-focused approach and the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong numeracy and excellent attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Manage inside sales activity across EMEA territories, supporting the wider sales team.
• Follow up leads and potential customers by telephone and email, ensuring opportunities are progressed effectively.
• Use CRM systems to manage sales activity, pipeline development and customer records.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline of opportunities and support the conversion and closing of sales.
• Prepare and issue quotations, pro-forma invoices and contracts.
• Produce sales and CRM reports covering orders, sales figures, renewals and licensing information.
• Research existing and prospective customers to identify new sales opportunities and potential areas for growth.
• Support sales campaigns, mailings and lead-generation activity, including outbound calling.
• Monitor tender portals and social media for potential sales opportunities.
• Work closely with the sales team to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
• Liaise with customers and the marketing team to help coordinate roadshows, workshops, webinars and other events.
• Ensure all customer information, sales activity and relevant documentation is accurately maintained.
