Job summary

Lookers Motor Group Limited in Wilmslow is looking for a Sales Consultant to excel in customer communication and vehicle sales. The role offers a competitive OTE of up to £50,000 per annum, including a basic salary of £25,000 plus uncapped commission.

This full-time position requires 44 hours of work per week, with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for suggesting vehicles, arranging test drives, negotiating prices, and completing the necessary paperwork.

Contract Type: Permanent, full time

Salary: OTE up to £50,000 per annum plus company car! (including £25,000 basic plus uncapped commission)

Hours: 44 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 08:30 – 18:00, Saturday 09:00 – 17:00 & Sunday 11:00 – 15:00 (One day off in the week and weekends on rota basis)

Responsibilities

• Communicating with customers via email, telephone and in person
• Suggesting suitable vehicles based on customer needs
• Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
• Negotiating the final price for the sale
• Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale
• Liaising with various departments within the dealership to provide the best service to all our customers

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Self‑motivated and passionate about car sales
• Ambitious and hard‑working; expected to hit targets
• Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade preferred
• Full UK driving licence
