Overview

Location: Sunderland Nissan

Salary: up to £60,000 OTE (including £25,000 basic plus uncapped commission)

Hours of Work: 44 hours, Monday to Friday 08:45 to 18:00 (with one day off), Saturdays 08:45 to 17:00, and alternate Sundays 10:00 to 16:00

Owing to our hard work and continued success, Lookers opened a new Nissan dealership in Sunderland at the end of 2023, and we are now looking to expand our successful team! As a Sales Executive here at Lookers, you could be specialising in New or Used car sales, focusing on providing a world-class customer motoring experience. You will work alongside our other Sales Executives, Business Managers, and Sales Managers to ensure our customers always receive the best service.

Joining our dedicated Sales Executives, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will be part of one of the top automotive retailers in the UK and will report to an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Manager with extensive industry knowledge. Our team of Sales and Business Managers will support your success through ongoing training, regular 1-to-1s, and in-house sales training, helping you develop your skills and build a strong career in the industry.

Our Sales Executives are the key points of contact for customers, paying close attention to detail to understand their wants and needs.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with customers via email, telephone, and in person, creating a welcoming environment at all times
• Listening to customers to understand their needs and suggesting suitable vehicles that match their requirements
• Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
• Negotiating the final price for the sale
• Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale
• Liaising with all relevant departments throughout the sales process to ensure a smooth transaction

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated, and passionate about their work. You will be expected to meet targets, so ambition and hard work are essential.

Previous experience in a similar role within the motor trade is desirable. You must hold a full UK driving license, as you may be required to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market.
