Overview

Location: Volkswagen Preston

Salary: £25,000 per annum + uncapped commission

Hours: 42 hrs per week

Lookers Volkswagen is recruiting an ambitious and experienced Sales Executive to join our friendly team on site. Specialising in both new and used car sales, you will work alongside our passionate sales team to provide first-class customer service.

Joining our dedicated sales team, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will be reporting to Ian Seddon (Sales Manager), who will help develop your knowledge and skills, allowing you to establish a strong career within the industry.

Our onsite Sales Team comprises two Sales Managers, a Business Manager, and six Sales Executives who will support you daily.

• Communicate with customers via email, phone, and in person
• Suggest suitable vehicles based on customer needs
• Arrange and accompany customers on test drives
• Negotiate the final sale price
• Complete relevant paperwork for each sale

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated, and passionate about their work. You will be expected to meet targets; therefore, ambition and hard work are essential.

Previous experience in a similar role and within the motor trade is preferred but not essential; we welcome new and fresh talent. A full UK driving license is required, as you may need to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market.
