Sales Executive

Location: Portsmouth

Salary: £27,500 Basic Salary + commission - Realistic OTE upward of £40k-£50K

Start date: ASAP

Hours of work: Core working hours, Monday to Friday

Dynamite Recruitment is partnering with a well-established business based in Portsmouth. Due to growth plans in 2021, our client is now seeking to recruit a Sales Executive/Account Manager to join their team.

As a Sales Executive/Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining new and existing tender opportunities, supporting the Senior team with contacting, quoting, and closing deals.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Being the first point of contact for customers via email and telephone.
  2. Generating repeat business by contacting previous customers to identify and address their needs.
  3. Managing key client accounts and driving sales growth.
  4. Supporting customers with billing and account queries.
  5. Managing and updating customer accounts regularly.
  6. Taking ownership of sales targets and identifying new sales opportunities.
  7. Using CRM to log all activities and follow up on tender opportunities.
  8. Selling to existing customers to increase revenue.
  9. Collaborating with Quality Assurance to ensure sales verification compliance.
  10. Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  11. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Ideal candidate qualities:
  1. Experience in sales or account management roles.
  2. Ability to manage and prioritize time and workload effectively.
  3. Must be driven and self-motivated.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  5. Strong sales and account management skills.
  6. Ownership of issues and efficient resolution skills.
  7. Proven track record of achieving targets.
  8. Competent in using email, phone, and LinkedIn.
