If so, … you could be just who Waylands are looking for to join our Volvo showroom in Oxford. We are recruiting to add additional members to the team due to our volume of customers. Volvo is a well-established and popular brand in the UK market, and this is an exciting time to join us.

Waylands Automotive is a successful and growing motor dealer group with 11 sites across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, and Avon.

What’s the Job?

  1. Selling our range of new and used cars
  2. Communicating effectively with colleagues and accurately completing paperwork to meet delivery deadlines and fulfill promises
  3. Maintaining customer records and staying in touch with existing clients for their aftersales needs
  4. Managing your database of prospective customers to create new opportunities
  5. Ensuring the showroom is always clean and presentable
  6. Creating and sending customized video presentations to highlight features and benefits of vehicles to potential customers
  7. Ensuring all sales comply with FCA legislation

Who Are We Looking For?

  1. Someone excited to meet every customer, whether in person, via email, or phone
  2. Someone attentive to small details about customers, like their pet's name, to make their day
  3. A person committed to helping customers find the right car for them and achieving sales targets
  4. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy for customers
  5. A competent driver with a full license held for at least one year
  6. Professional, friendly, and approachable manner
  7. Strong communication and influencing skills

What Do You Get In Return?

  1. A 5-day week on a set rota, including weekends (45 hours/week)
  2. Basic salary of £19,000 plus commissions and bonuses (OTE £53,300)
  3. Company car and fuel card
  4. 31 days holiday per year, including bank holidays (some coverage may be required)
