Position Overview:

We are seeking a Sales and Events Executive to join our team in Bristol and drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and exceptional event management. The ideal candidate will be a sales superstar, motivated by exceeding targets and maximising commission opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth across all aspects of the business, including corporate, social and bespoke events.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted lead generation and prospecting efforts. Utilise various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and digital marketing, to expand our client base.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Collaborate with internal teams to plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse range of events, including corporate functions, team-building activities, and social gatherings. Ensure seamless event delivery from inception to completion, exceeding client expectations at every touchpoint.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor sales performance against targets and KPIs, analysing key metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimisation. Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, providing insights into sales trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing and operations, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. Collaborate on promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and operational enhancements to drive revenue growth and enhance the customer experience.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in sales and event management. Take initiative in seeking out training opportunities and professional development resources to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 2 years in hospitality sales background
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Previous experience in event planning or hospitality management is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing, Business or related field preferred but not essential.

Reporting lines

  • Reports directly in Area Sales Manager and has a dotted line to the Venue Management team

Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year plus commission
