THE ROLE

We’re seeking a proactive and driven Sales Executive to support and strengthen our growing sales department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of sales and business development experience to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

As a key part of the team, you’ll be responsible for generating leads, managing sales processes, building strong client relationships, and preparing competitive quotations. You’ll be working closely with clients across various sectors including commercial, residential, and construction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage incoming sales enquiries and tenders for cleaning projects
  • Generate new business leads through inbound and outbound sales (cold calling required)
  • Upsell services to existing clients and build lasting relationships
  • Understand and interpret CAD drawings (training provided)
  • Attend client meetings and site visits to discuss potential and ongoing projects
  • Organise and attend pre-start meetings for secured contracts
  • Create accurate and competitive quotations using Excel-based tools
  • Maintain and present sales records and projections to the Managing Director
  • Monitor and review past and current sales performance to inform strategy
  • Ensure sales and project administration is accurate and up to date
  • Identify new project opportunities and monitor competitor activity
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Manage and maintain supply chain documentation
  • Assist the Office Administrator when necessary
  • Utilise multiple lead generation platforms including phone, email, LinkedIn, and Facebook

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a sales or business development role
  • Ability to lead a team independently
  • Strong organisational, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
  • Proven ability to build rapport with clients and understand their needs
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Resilient, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (basic understanding of VBA is a plus)
  • Experience in generating and nurturing leads
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Required)
  • Reference from previous employer

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.50 (depending on experience)
  • Quarterly commission based on performance and targets met
  • 20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
  • Standard office hours: Monday – Friday, 09:30 – 17:00
