Informa PLC is seeking a motivated sales professional to join their dynamic Hospitality, Food & Beverage team. You'll sell exhibition space and drive business growth within an experienced team. The role involves significant international travel, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years' sales experience with a passion for the food and hospitality sector.
Informa Markets , a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.
Informa’s Hospitality, Food & Beverage program of B2B trade events is considered the most prodigious global food and hospitality trade show portfolio. With over 30 industry leading events in 13 countries, the portfolio is the industry standard for quality food, drinks, hospitality, foodservice and bakery exhibitions for over 40 years and includes the market leading brands FHA, FHC, HOFEX & Natural Products Expo.
You will sell exhibition stand space & added value products across the food & hospitality portfolio of events, handling existing accounts, driving new business growth and generating new leads.
You will be working within an experienced, passionate and dynamic team with a hard-work ethic. You will be expected to develop and manage your own pipeline by phone, email and face-to-face selling and will therefore need to be tenacious and enthusiastic
Your responsibilities will include:
You will be a well-motivated, ambitious and successful sales professional, ideally with 1-2 years sales experience. You must show a determination and ability to deliver and exceed sales results with a proven track record.
Working hours from 8am - 4.30 pm
Working mimium of 2 days at 240 Blackfriaris office (Monday & Wednesday)
Ability to travel frequently to a number of international destinations essential
