About the role

50% of our customers have never leased before, which is why our Sales Executives play such a key role in our customer's experience. As a Sales Executive, you'll speak to customers about their leasing needs; some will know what they want their next vehicle to be, and others won't. Your job will be to qualify and assess their needs, guiding them through the leasing journey to secure their dream vehicle.
We'll generate the leads, so you can focus on engaging customers with your passion and exceptional customer service. You may think a love of cars and vans is a must to work at Vanarama, but it's not. Our award-winning training programme will help you build the knowledge needed in order to offer an exceptional level of customer service.

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience working in a sales environment, this could be face-to-face or phone environment.
  2. You will have experience achieving targets or KPIs.
  3. You'll have a passion for customer service and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, negotiating, objection handling, and influencing skills.
  4. Organised and will be able to prioritise effectively.
  5. Motivation, resilience, and a team player who enjoys collaborating as part of a wider team.
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Working hours
We have part-time and full-time opportunities available. Our full-time Sales Executives work a 39-hour week over a 4-week rota cycle. In the 4-week cycle, you will work:

  1. One weekend
  2. One week of evening shifts, until 8pm.
If you're interested in part-time roles, we're looking for a minimum of 23 hours a week. This could be a combination of day, evening, or weekend shifts.

We're offering a basic salary of £25,000 plus uncapped commission with realistic OTE of £40,000 to £50,000, and a benefits package to support your health and well-being. You'll have 24 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, and that's in addition to a day off for your birthday.
