Developing strong relationships with the local community and attending events to drive business growth will play a key part in your role.

Heritage Portfolio's prestigious client base knows they can trust us to deliver a service from start to finish, and our reputation for professionalism, innovation and sheer artistry means we have won a plethora of awards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure all enquiries and quotes are responded to and produced to the agreed high standard in a professional and efficient manner, with all responses sent out on the same day and followed up within 24hrs.
  • Manage the end-to-end life of an enquiry from proposal quotation through to booking and confirming in a professional and timely manner.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients through creating an exemplary customer experience by gaining and recording insights, thereby encouraging repeat business and referrals.
  • Manage data quality by ensuring 100% compliance on CRM systems and ensuring customer data security.
  • Ensure all relevant marketing collateral, venue hire, and package pricing is in place for the venue and checked regularly.
  • Work closely with Venue GMs and the Event Design team to ensure a smooth customer journey.
  • Understand the local & regional market in order to sell effectively against the competition from both the venue and catering perspective.
  • Assist with entertaining, site visits, sales missions, networking and at all times act as an ambassador for Heritage Portfolio and the venue client.
  • Engage with the local community and surrounding areas, attending events to create commercial opportunities to drive business growth.

The ideal candidate

You will have a strong background in hospitality sales and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding customer and sales targets. You will have a genuine passion for cultural destinations with the ability to learn and become a knowledgeable sales ambassador for our magnificent client venues.

You will also have:

  • A strong knowledge of the local market.
  • The will to be a strong team player with a 'can do' attitude.
  • The ability to build strong client relationships and understand their needs.
  • The ability to work under pressure and deliver measurable sales targets.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility (some evenings may be required due to the nature of the business).

What we offer

£27,500 - £29,000+ great bonus and benefits as well as countless opportunities to grow within the company.

  • Unlimited access to an online platform offering mental health and wellbeing support.
  • An Employee Assistance Programme to help with everyday issues or larger problems where you may need additional support, including legal and financial advice, support with work-related issues or personal issues such as bereavement.
  • Access to a 24hr virtual GP Service.
  • The Sodexo Discounts Scheme, offering great deals 24/7 (also open to friends and family).

If you are customer-centric and have the desire to deliver the optimum client service, we want to hear from you! Our experiences are unique, and so are our people. Bring personality, your background and your desire for delighting others. In return, we’ll give you all you need to thrive.
