Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding
Chelmsford, Essex
Permanent | Full-time (Monday–Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm)
£30,000 – £35,000 + 5% Commission (Lifetime of Customer)

Noble Recruiting is proud to be working with a leading global logistics business that is expanding its Chelmsford-based team. We’re looking for an experienced Freight Forwarding Sales Executive to drive business growth and manage key client relationships.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales-driven professional with freight experience (Sea Freight essential; Air and Road advantageous) to step into a rewarding role with long-term commission potential.

About the Role:

As Sales Executive, you’ll play a key role in identifying and developing new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The position includes both office-based and field sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage a portfolio of freight forwarding clients
  • Drive new business through proactive outreach, lead generation, and client visits
  • Present full logistics services to prospective customers
  • Maintain and grow your sales pipeline and revenue base
  • Develop long-term client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve
What You’ll Need:
  • Proven sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transport
  • A strong understanding of sea freight (air and road freight knowledge is a plus)
  • Results-focused mindset with a drive to hit and exceed targets
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build trust and rapport
  • Self-motivated, organised, and commercially aware
