Lookers Volkswagen is recruiting an ambitious and experienced Sales Executive to join our friendly team on site. Specialising in both new and used car sales, you will work alongside our passionate sales team to provide first-class customer service.

Joining our sales team, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will be reporting to the Sales Manager, who will help enhance your knowledge and experience, allowing you to develop your skills and establish a strong career within the industry. Our onsite Sales Team includes two Sales Managers, a Business Manager, and six Sales Executives who will support you daily.

  • Communicating with customers via email, telephone, and in person
  • Suggesting suitable vehicles based on customer needs
  • Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
  • Negotiating the final price for the sale
  • Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale
  • Creating and maintaining a site parking plan
  • Assisting with unloading new/used vehicles and ensuring they are parked correctly
  • Assisting the workshop in preparing cars for technicians
  • Keeping the customer car park clear at all times
  • Maintaining site H&S by keeping roadways and pathways clear

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated, and passionate about their work. You will be expected to meet targets, so ambition and hard work are essential.

Previous experience in a similar role and within the motor trade is preferred but not essential, as we welcome new and fresh talent. A full UK driving license is required, as you may need to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market!
