Sales & Events Manager, London, £34k - £36k

We are working with a unique heritage venue in London who host an array of events from weddings and corporate, to fashion shows and filming! We are looking for an experienced sales and events manager to join up the team, supporting in driving sales to exceed targets as well as full planning and coordination of events.The sales and events manager will support the head of department in coming up with creative ideas and promotions to market the venue and drive awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Proactively market the venue to generate new business
  • Respond to a high volume of enquiries from clients, agencies, and suppliers
  • Focus on confirming multi-day, high revenue events
  • Assist the Head of department with strategies and sales plans
  • Support in managing the sales and marketing correspondence from social media, newsletters, brochures etc.
  • Attend tradeshows and networking events on behalf of the venue

Skills and Experience:

  • Event sales and management experience ideally from a unique venue or caterer
