We are currently looking for a passionate Sales & Meeting Executive to join the team here at Bankside Hotel.

What you will be doing:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events), and leisure segments.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections to generate leads and close sales.
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts, local businesses, and travel agents to secure repeat business.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects and follow up promptly on all leads.
  • Attend industry networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows to represent the hotel and develop market intelligence.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Responsible for the quoting, contracting, and planning for any events proactively bought in
  • At busy periods, will be responsible for helping the rest of the team with reactive enquiries
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales activity, booking conversion, and revenue forecasts to the Director of Sales.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales, events, or hospitality-related role—preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Is self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Has a proven ability to build and nurture client relationships with professionalism, empathy, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Has excellent written and spoken communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Is a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Ideally has experience in Opera, or other similar operating systems
