Are you an outstanding Sales & Events Coordinator looking to work at a stunning venue based in Surrey? Do you enjoy managing clients, building relationships, and organising fantastic events? If so, then this could be the perfect role for you!


Our fantastic client is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Sales & Events Coordinator who is a highly customer-focused team player with a positive outlook, can-do attitude, and amazing communication skills.


The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with weekend and evening flexibility required according to the business needs and operations. As the role works within the events industry, the start and finish times will vary depending on what events you have on that week. The salary on offer is £30,000 per annum.


A driver will be required for this role due to the location of the venue. You will need to have 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.


Key Responsibilities for the Sales & Events Coordinator role:


  1. Responding and sending proposals to enquiries received on a variety of different platforms such as webpages, emails, calls, etc.
  2. Conducting show rounds that have been pre-booked or ad hoc walk-ins.
  3. Diary management and contract completion.
  4. Plan and execute details via function sheets in a timely, professional manner.
  5. Assist with the planning and hosting of all events.
  6. Conduct showcase evenings.
  7. Plan and host fairs, open evenings, and showcase evenings.
  8. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.

Key skills and qualities for the Sales & Events Coordinator role:


  1. Creative - originality and new ideas highly valued.
  2. Well organised with high attention to detail.
  3. Well presented.
  4. Previous experience in a similar role.
  5. Good knowledge of OPERA is an advantage, but not essential.
  6. Excellent written and oral communication.
