A Sales and Event Manager to actively work as part of the Events Team to increase and enhance sales. Proactively upsell services using various techniques, aiming to meet and exceed customer expectations. Operate and maintain client ordering systems, ensuring accurate and timely information for customers, staff, and management.

Sales and Event Manager - The role

  • Supervise and support Event Managers, ensuring high performance and communication
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and suppliers
  • Support new team member inductions and ongoing development
  • Respond promptly to catering and event inquiries, converting leads into bookings
  • Manage client communications before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
  • Proactively resolve complaints and turn feedback into positive experiences
  • Ensure all event details, proposals, and paperwork are accurate and compliant with company procedures
  • Uphold legal and company standards in Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and Licensing
  • Maintain detailed records, databases, and efficient administrative systems
  • Attend client site visits and live events to monitor delivery and maintain strong relationships
