Jewson a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe,

is on the hunt for an Sales Estimator who's as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours

7.30 – 5.00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8-12

Location: Kirkwall, KW15 1GG

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting customer with projects, providing accurate estimates to secure new business
• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values
• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
• Processing of purchase, sales and stock transactions by company procedures
• Negotiating with customers and suppliers
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience within our industry and products is desirable, we are committed to providing you with the full tools and support required to carry out your role within Jewson.
• You will have a passion for delivering great customer service, always look to put the customer first; can build trust and are able to proactively seek out solutions that are right for our customers, then you are likely to be a great fit!
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work in a team environment and on own initiative.
• Candidates should ideally have a background of working in the construction industry.
