  • Develop comprehensive proposals, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal capabilities.
  • Evaluate the scope of work, project timelines, and resource allocation to develop accurate cost estimates.
  • Identify potential risks, contingencies, and areas for cost optimization within proposals.
  • Work closely with internal sales teams to support bid strategies and technical proposals.
  • Coordinate with project managers and technical teams to validate feasibility and align estimates with project execution plans.
  • Engage with end clients to clarify requirements, present solutions, and build trust in our deliverables.
  • Maintain detailed records of all tender submissions, including costs, assumptions, and revisions.
  • Provide regular reports on tender outcomes and feedback to improve future estimating processes.
  • Continuously review and refine estimating tools, processes, and benchmarks to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in software development and cost estimation.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong background in PLC programming, control systems, and power monitoring solutions.
  • Proven experience in software estimation for engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in analyzing technical specifications and translating them into cost-effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tender submissions and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the electrical switchgear industry or similar technical sectors.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard tools for project estimation and resource planning.
