We are seeking a Sales Engineer who will work in our EMEA team, based in, and focussed on United Kingdom and Ireland. This role is a key part of our regional sales efforts, providing technical expertise, partnership, and innovative problem-solving to help our customers succeed.

This is a hybrid role based in the UK or Ireland, with flexibility to work from home. Regular travel is expected across the UK and Ireland for customer engagements, along with in-person collaboration days at our EMEA HQ near Liverpool Street Station, London.

What you'll do:
  • Partner with the sales team to support and drive technical sales activities across enterprise accounts.
  • Performs a high-level specialized systems engineering role as an individual contributor specializing in pre-sales activities.
  • Deliver compelling, technical presentations and demonstrations to customers, partners, and at events.
  • Designs network monitoring and visibility solutions tailored to customer environments.
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and product evaluations from setup through successful delivery.
  • Stay current with trends in public/private cloud, virtualisation, container platforms, and the competitive landscape and relevant 3rd party technologies.
  • Provides mentorship/guidance on Technology and competitive trends to clients, partners, and employees.
  • Maintain and grow strong technical relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Provide technical feedback from the field to product and engineering teams
What you bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical area (Computer Science, Computer Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
  • Good experience in a Pre-Sales Engineer role ideally in networking, cybersecurity and cloud technologies
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization, containers, and public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Demonstrated success in customer-facing technical role
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and support others
