We’re recruiting for a specialist contractor and manufacturer of industrial flooring systems with a strong reputation in commercial and industrial sectors. They’re looking to appoint a Sales Engineer to manage existing accounts and drive new business in the East Midlands and North East.

The Role:
Ideal for a technically minded sales professional who enjoys project-based work, long-term client relationships, and contributing to growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow an existing client base

Identify and secure new business opportunities

Conduct site visits and develop tailored solutions

Prepare and follow up on technical quotes and proposals

Coordinate internally to support project delivery

Assist with RAMS, planning, and handovers

Maintain sales records and project tracking

Represent the company at trade shows and events

Candidate Requirements:

5+ years in technical sales or sales engineering

Strong business development and account management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to interpret client needs and provide engineered solutions

Full UK driving licence

Experience with flooring systems, resin coatings, cladding, decking, or similar prefabricated products

Background in construction or civil engineering

Experience working with contractors, FMs, or end-users in commercial/industrial sectors

£38,+ base salary (negotiable)

Quarterly and annual bonuses

Company car and business expenses

20-25 days holiday (loyalty-based)
